Paul Grant (basketball)
Paul Edward Grant (born January 6, 1974) is a retired American professional basketball player. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Grant attended Brother Rice High School in Michigan, and played at Boston College for three seasons, but then transferred to Wisconsin for his senior year. He was named honorable mention All-Big Ten after leading the Badgers in scoring, field goal percentage, and blocked shots. He also played in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament and the Nike Desert Classic. Grant was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves as the 20th pick in the 1997 NBA Draft. He was on the injured list for his entire rookie season because of a right midfoot sprain. He finally made his NBA debut on February 5, 1999 in a 110–92 win over the Denver Nuggets. Paul Grant (bodybuilder)
Paul Grant (26 June 1943 – 23 November 2003) was a Welsh body builder who won the "amateur tall" category of the Mr. Universe contest in 1973 and went on to become an ambassador for the sport. Grant also won titles including Mr. Wales, Mr. Britain, Mr. Europe and Mr. World, and placed 2nd in the World Championships two times. Grant was 5 ft 11 and at his peak weighed 16 stones (224 pounds) with a 50-inch chest and 33-inch waist. Early life Grant was born in Swansea on 26 June 1943 (he was a twin). He started lifting weights at the age of 16. He spent his childhood years running cross-country, and at age 16 dropped out of school to start his own business - a bread delivery service. Paul Grant (born 23 March 1993) is a Scottish footballer, who played as a goalkeeper for Musselburgh Athletic among other clubs. Grant has previously played for Hibernian, Berwick Rangers, Livingston, Bonnyrigg Rose, Tranent Juniors, Broxburn Athletic and Whitehill Welfare. Early life Grant attended Liberton High School. Career Grant was a member of the Hibernian under 19 squad. He was promoted to the first team squad late in the 2011–12 season, after first choice goalkeeper Graham Stack was injured in the Scottish Cup semi-final victory against Aberdeen. With Hibs having secured their SPL status and due to play in the 2012 Scottish Cup Final the following week, Grant made his professional debut on the final day of the 2011–12 Scottish Premier League season. 3 Colours Red were an English rock band, formed in 1994 in London. They achieved their biggest chart success at the end of the 1990s, along with other British rock bands such as Ash and Feeder. The band was named by sticking a pin in a London listings magazine, ''Time Out''. It landed randomly on an advertisement for the concluding part of the Polish film director Krzysztof Kieślowski's, ''Three Colors'', trilogy.
