Paul Clifton Anthony George (born May 2, 1990) is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Nicknamed "PG-13", he is a seven-time NBA All-Star and six-time member of the All-NBA Team, as well as a four-time member of the NBA All-Defensive Team. George played high school basketball for Knight High School before playing two seasons of college basketball for the Fresno State Bulldogs. He was selected by the Indiana Pacers with the 10th overall pick of the 2010 NBA draft, and earned NBA All-Rookie Second Team honors. He was named the NBA Most Improved Player in 2013, when he also earned his first All-Star selection. George suffered a broken leg in 2014 while competing for a roster spot on the United States national team for the FIBA Basketball World Cup. Paul George, is a Canadian environmentalist living in Gibsons, British Columbia. He is married to Adriane Carr, former leader of the Green Party of British Columbia, for which he ran in 1991, receiving 0.82% of the popular vote in the riding of Surrey-Newton. In the late 1960s, after leaving the United States, Paul George lived and worked on Vancouver Island as a teacher, builder, and lead science teacher for the British Columbia provincial correspondence school program. Paul "Pinkie" George
Paul "Pinkie" George (born Paul Lloyd Georgeacopoulos; January 22, 1905 – November 1, 1993) was an American professional wrestling promoter, boxer and businessman best known as the visionary behind, and first president of, the National Wrestling Alliance. He operated the NWA's Iowa territory, one of the primary members of the NWA based in Des Moines. Described by Sam Muchnick as the father of the NWA George was inducted into the NWA Hall of Fame in 2014. Early life Georgeacopoulos was born to Greek parents Limberis "Louis" and Elizabeth Bolanis Georgeacopoulos in Lowell, Massachusetts on January 22, 1905. Victoria Medal Of Honour
The Victoria Medal of Honour (VMH) is awarded to British horticulturists resident in the United Kingdom whom the Royal Horticultural Society Council considers deserving of special honour by the Society. The award was established in 1897 "in perpetual remembrance of Her Majesty's glorious reign, and to enable the Council to confer honour on British horticulturists." The Society's rules state that only sixty-three horticulturists can hold the VMH at any given time, in commemoration of the sixty-three years of Queen Victoria's reign. Nikhil Paul George is a British music producer, singer, composer and guitarist of Indian origin. His work has extensively featured on high grossing mainstream Indian films. Known to work out of Mumbai and London, with further links in LA and Nashville, he often records and collaborates with musicians from around the world. Notable of these are Indian composer Pritam, musicians from London orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra and London Philharmonic Orchestra and various traditional folk musicians from Africa and central and eastern Europe. Paul St George is a London based multimedia artist and sculptor, best known for ''The Telectroscope'', an art installation visually linking London and New York. St George's other projects have included ''Minumentals'', miniatures of famous large-scale sculptures such as The Angel of the North, for the Locus + arts organization, and Revelation', a multimedia installation at Gunpowder Park in Waltham Abbey, Essex.
