Paul Eales
Paul Martyn Eales (born 2 August 1963) is an English professional golfer. Career Eales was born in Epping, Essex. He turned professional in 1985 and became a member of Europe's second tier Challenge Tour in 1990. The following season he won the Audi Open, and in 1992 finished third on the Challenge Tour Rankings to graduate to the main European Tour for the 1993 season. After a solid rookie season in 1993, Eales won the 1994 Extremadura Open on his way to a career best 35th place on the European Tour Order of Merit. He performed consistently, but without winning again, mostly finishing within the top 100 on the Order of Merit until 2004, when he lost his tour card. Eales was the assistant professional to Eddie Birchenough at Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club, where he first became an assistant in 1987. Eales is now playing on the European Senior Tour. Epping, Essex
Epping is a market town and civil parish in the Epping Forest district of the County of Essex, England. The town is northeast from the centre of London, is surrounded by the northern end of Epping Forest, and on a ridge of land between the River Roding and River Lea valleys. Epping is the terminus for London Underground's Central line. The town has a number of historic Grade I and II and Grade III listed buildings. The weekly market, which dates to 1253, is held each Monday. In 2001 the parish had a population of 11,047 which increased to 11,461 at the 2011 Census. Epping became twinned with the German town of Eppingen in north-west Baden-Württemberg in 1981. 1994 European Tour
The 1994 European Tour, titled as the 1994 Volvo Tour for sponsorship reasons, was the 23rd official season of golf tournaments known as the PGA European Tour. The season was made up of 38 tournaments counting for the Order of Merit, and several non-counting "Approved Special Events". The Order of Merit was won by Scotland's Colin Montgomerie for the second time, defending the title he won in 1993. Changes for 1994 Aside from scheduling, initially there was just one change from the previous season, with the addition of the Extremadura Open. The PGA Championship (often referred to as the US PGA Championship or USPGA outside the United States) is an annual golf tournament conducted by the Professional Golfers' Association of America. The Masters Tournament (usually referred to as simply The Masters, or the U.S. Masters outside North America) is one of the four major championships in professional golf. Scheduled for the first full week of April, the Masters is the first major of the year, and unlike the others, it is always held at the same location, Augusta National Golf Club, a private course in the city of Augusta, Georgia, in the southeastern United States. The Open Championship, often referred to as The Open or the British Open, is the oldest golf tournament in the world, and one of the most prestigious. Founded in 1860, it was originally held annually at Prestwick Golf Club in Scotland. Later the venue rotated between a select group of coastal links golf courses in the United Kingdom. Santiago Luna Torres (born 29 November 1962) is a Spanish professional golfer. Luna's father was on the staff at Puerta de Hierro Golf Club in Madrid. He turned professional in 1982 and has spent over twenty years on the European Tour, playing in over five hundred tournaments. He ranked in the top one hundred on the Order of Merit twelve times, with a best of 31st place in 1998. Peter Fowler
Peter Randall Fowler (born 9 June 1959) is an Australian golfer who plays on the PGA Tour of Australasia and European Senior Tour. Career Fowler was born in Hornsby, New South Wales. He turned professional in 1977 and won the Australian Open in 1983. He has spent a large part of his career playing on the European Tour, where he made the top one hundred on the Order of Merit every year from 1983 to 1993, with a best ranking of 22nd in 1989.
