Paul D. Wohlers
Paul D. Wohlers is a U.S. diplomat who served from 2011 to 2015 as the U.S. ambassador to Macedonia, stationed at the U.S. embassy in Skopje. Wohlers graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1974 with a B.S. in international affairs. He then served as a Naval Flight Officer, attached to the USS Eisenhower. He earned a J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 1982.. Early in his career with the U.S. State Department, Wohlers held posts at the U.S. embassies in Bucharest, Moscow, and Nicosia.
