Paul Cox (footballer)
Paul Richard Cox (born 6 January 1972) is an English football manager who was previously a professional footballer. Cox was most recently manager of National League North club Boston United. In an eleven-year career as a player, Cox played in the Football League with his hometown club Notts County before playing in non-league football with several clubs, most notably Kettering Town. Cox moved into coaching at Eastwood Town in 2003, becoming the manager in 2005. He won the Northern Premier League in 2008–09, and left the club for Mansfield Town in 2011, with whom he won the Conference Premier in 2012–13, before leaving in November 2014. He later managed Torquay United in 2015, Barrow from 2015 until 2017, and Guiseley between 2017 and 2018 when he was appointed manager of Kettering Town. Mansfield is a market town and the administrative centre of Mansfield District in Nottinghamshire, England. It is the largest town in the wider Mansfield Urban Area (followed by Sutton-in-Ashfield). It gained the Royal Charter of a market town in 1227. The town lies in the Maun Valley, north of Nottingham and near Sutton-in-Ashfield. It has four divisions: the Premier Division (which stands at level 7 of the English football league system), Division One East, Division One West and Division One Midlands (which stand at level 8). Geographically, the league covers all of Northern England and the northern/central areas of the Midlands, and western parts of East Anglia. Originally a single-division competition, a second division was added in 1987: Division One, and in 2007 a third was added when Division One split into two geographic sections - Division One North and Division One South. In 2018 Division One was re-aligned as East and West Divisions, then North West and South East in 2019. 2008–09 Northern Premier League
The 2008–09 was the 41st season for the Northern Premier League Premier Division, and the second season for the Northern Premier League Division One North and South. As continuing part of non-league restructuring, the Division One South temporarily has 20 teams, while the Division One North contains 21, with a targeted number for both of 22 teams. This will naturally affect the number of relegation slots available this season, as the league attempts to enlarge the size of the divisions at the end of the season. The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. Kevin Bartlett (English Footballer)
Kevin Francis Bartlett (born 12 October 1962) is an English former professional footballer who played as a forward. He began his career at hometown club Portsmouth in 1980, but dropped into non-League football with Fareham Town two years later. Signing with Cardiff City in September 1986, he helped the "Bluebirds" to the Welsh Cup and promotion out of the Fourth Division in 1987–88. He moved on to West Bromwich Albion in 1989, before joining Notts County a year later. He helped the "Magpies" to promotion out of the Second Division in 1991. Loaned out to Port Vale in 1992, he retired due to injury in 1993, not long after joining Cambridge United.
