Paul Carter (born 23 May 1992) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who last played for the Sydney Roosters in the NRL. He primarily plays at and , but can also fill in at . He previously played for the Gold Coast Titans, South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Sydney Roosters. Background Born in Penrith, New South Wales, Carter played his junior rugby league for the Wyong Roos, before being signed by the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. Blake Ferguson (born 20 March 1990) is a professional rugby league footballer who last played for the Leigh Centurions in the Betfred Championship and Australia at international level. 2014 NRL Season
The 2014 NRL season was the 107th season of professional rugby league in Australia and the 17th season of the National Rugby League in Australia and New Zealand. The season started in New Zealand, for the Auckland Nines, replacing the Rugby League All Stars Match for the year, in the pre-season. After 26 rounds of the regular season, the Sydney Roosters were again crowned minor premiers and the competition had been reduced to a top eight teams to contest the finals series.
