Paul C. Lambert (born March 14, 1928) was the United States Ambassador to Ecuador from 1990 to 1992. He submitted his resignation in December 1991 saying Ecuador is “a country plagued by corruption and excessive bureaucracy.” Background Lambert was born in New York City on March 14, 1928.
