Paul Kline (born 1964) is an American photographer known for his editorial, advertising and documentary work. Biography Kline was born in Long Beach, California. He graduated in 1991 from Cornell University with a Bachelor's degree and later he studied at the New York Institute of Photography The New York Institute of Photography (or NYIP) is a for-profit online school based out of New York City, offering different courses in photography to students all over the world. Kline's father Abbott was also a professional photographer, he gave his son his first camera. Kline has done commercial work for many corporations and ad agencies. His images have appeared in many publications, both new and old media. NYIP currently offers ten courses in photography. History The New York Institute of Photography was founded in 1910, according to early brochures, by Emile Brunel. At the time, he named the school the E. Brunel School of Photography. Emile was a sculptor/artist/photographer best known for his celebrity portraits. NYIP was officially registered as a business with the Supreme Course of the State of New York in 1915.
