Pau Milà i Fontanals (26 December 1810, Vilafranca del Penedès - 16 January 1883, Barcelona) was a Spanish painter, writer and professor; specializing in art history and aesthetics. Biography He was born to a prosperous family. Agapit Vallmitjana i Barbany (24 March 1832, Barcelona – 25 November 1905, Barcelona) was a Spanish sculptor, in the Realist style. Orvieto () is a city and ''comune'' in the Province of Terni, southwestern Umbria, Italy, situated on the flat summit of a large butte of volcanic tuff. Elies Rogent i Amat (Barcelona 18 July 1821 – Barcelona 21 February 1897), was a Catalan architect of Spanish nationality. Life and work He studied at the school of Architecture in Madrid, from which he graduated on 20 February 1851. Elies Rogent i la Universitat, pàg. 14 He was appointed as the director of the Barcelona Provincial School of Architecture in 1871. An admirer of Eugène Viollet-le-Duc, he passed on his passion for mediaeval architecture through his teaching work. His students included Lluís Domènech i Montaner and Antoni Gaudí, of whom he reputedly said, as he signed his degree, "I have approved either a madman or a genius". It was declared ''Bien de Interés Cultural'' in 1866. History Chapel of Santa Ágata was built in 1302.
