Patti Vande
Patti Wuthrich (born July 17, 1958 in Winnipeg as Patti "Vande" Vandekerckhove) is a Canadian curler and curling coach from Gimli, Manitoba. As a junior curler, she won the 1974 Canadian Junior Curling Championships playing second for the Chris Pidzarko rink. She won the playing lead for Cathy Pidzarko. She competed at the 1988 Winter Olympics when curling was a demonstration sport. The Canadian women's team won the gold medal, defeating Sweden in the final. Patti Vandekerckhove was inducted into the Canadian Curling Hall of Fame in 1986. After retirement she began coaching teams on the national and international level, for example the team of Kerri Einarson or the Korean team of Kim Eun-jung. Kim Eun-jung (curler)
Kim Eun-jung, nicknamed "Annie" (born November 29, 1990) is a South Korean curler from Uiseong. She currently skips her own team on the World Curling Tour. Kim skipped the national team from 2016 to 2018 and represented Korea on home ice at the 2018 Winter Olympics where her team won a silver medal. Career As a junior skip, Kim led South Korea to three-straight silver medals at the Pacific-Asia Junior Curling Championships. In 2010, she lost in the final to China's Liu Jinli, in 2011 she lost to Japan's Sayaka Yoshimura, and in 2012 she lost to Yoshimura again. Right after juniors in April 2012, Kim earned her first non-junior national title at the South Korean Curling Championships, which are held every spring to qualify the winner as the national team for the following season. Maureen Bonar
Maureen Bonar ( ); (born 1962 or 1963 in Deloraine, Manitoba) is a Canadian curler. Bonar is a four time provincial champion- twice as a skip. In 2009 Bonar was inducted into the Manitoba Curling Hall of Fame. Curling career After having won the 1982 provincial junior championships as skip, Bonar joined up with Patti Vande as her lead and won the 1983 provincial championships earning them the right to represent Manitoba at the 1983 Scott Tournament of Hearts. The team finished 6-4, and out of the playoffs. Ten years later, Bonar won her second provincial championships - this time as skip. At the 1993 Scott Tournament of Hearts, Bonar lost in the final to Saskatchewan's Sandra Schmirler (then Peterson). Bonar won her third provincial championships in 1996.
