Crossbelt Mani
K. Velayudhan Nair, better known by his stage name Crossbelt Mani (22 April 1935 – 30 October 2021), was an Indian film director and cinematographer, who worked in the Malayalam cinema. He directed more than 40 Malayalam movies and worked as a cinematographer for ten movies. He became popular with his second movie ''Cross Belt'' in 1970 and adopted ''Crossbelt'' to his name. Veteran director Joshiy worked as an assistant director under him. Personal life Velayudhan Nair with the stage name Crossbelt Mani hailed from Thiruvananthapuram. He was born to Valiyashalayil Madhavivilasathu Krishna Pillai and Kamalamma on 22 April 1935. He was married to Iranayil Bhagavathimandirathu Sreemathiyamma. They had a son, Krishnakumar, and a daughter, Roopa. Mani died on 30 October 2021, at the age of 86 at his home in Thiruvananthapuram. Vincent (12 February 1946 - 30 August 1991) was an Indian actor from Kerala. He was active during the 1970s and 80s and acted in about 160+ Malayalam films, many of them as leading actor. Born in Edavanakad Vypin, he was a romantic and action hero of his time. Personal life Vincent was married to Mary, who was working as a teacher in Chennai Public School, Chennai. He died of a heart attack on 31 August 1991 at the age of 45. Vincent's wife Mary died on 15 October 2016 in a road accident near Thirumangalam, Chennai. Bharanikkavu Sivakumar (died 24 January 2007) was an Indian lyricist from Kerala who worked in Malayalam film industry. He is the grandson of Mahakavi Azhakathu Padmanabha Kuruppu, the first great poet of the Malayalam poetry 'Ramachandra Vilasas'. His first movie as a lyricist was Chenda in 1973.
