Patrik Gedeon
Patrik Gedeon (born 19 July 1975) is a Czech footballer who plays as a midfielder for FC Chomutov. He has played international football for the Czech Republic. Club career Gedeon played for six years at Chmel Blšany, where he was captain. In 2001, Gedeon moved to Slavia Prague, signing a three-year contract for a transfer fee of 12 million Czech koruna. He served as Slavia's captain during his time at the club. Gedeon sustained a knee injury after playing just five games in the 2003/04 season, and although he attempted to make a comeback in a game against Slovácko, he lasted just 17 minutes and did not feature for Slavia's first team for the rest of the season. In September 2005, Gedeon suffered a knee injury in a game against Viktoria Plzeň. Gedeon missed two months of the season with the injury before returning to Slavia's first team in a match against Blšany in November, where he wore the captain's armband. Chomutov
Chomutov (; german: Komotau) is a city in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 46,000 inhabitants. There are almost 80,000 inhabitants in the city's wider metropolitan area. The Czech Cup ( cs, Pohár FAČR), officially known as the MOL Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the major men's football cup competition in the Czech Republic. It is organised by the Czech Football Association. The Czech Cup was first held in 1961. The winner would then face the winner of the Slovak Cup in the Czechoslovak Cup final. The Netherlands national football team ( nl, Nederlands voetbalelftal or simply ''Het Nederlands elftal'') has represented the Netherlands in international men's football matches since 1905. Karel Brückner
Karel Brückner (; born 13 November 1939, Olomouc) is a Czech retired football coach. Playing career Brückner played as a forward in the lower leagues for MŽ Olomouc, at levels between the Regional Championship and the Second League. He made two appearances for Baník Ostrava in the Czechoslovak First League during the 1970–71 season. Coaching career Brückner began his coaching career in 1973 with his home club SK Sigma Olomouc, before moving to FC Zbrojovka Brno, who he led in the Czechoslovak First League in the 1981–82 and 1982–83 seasons. He later went on to coach Inter Bratislava with which he won the Slovakia Cup in 1985. He was appointed coach of the Czech Republic national under-21 football team in 1997 and the side finished second at the 2000 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.
