Patrick Pilet
Patrick Pilet (born October 8, 1981) is a French professional racing driver. He has competed in major sports car endurance races like the 24 Hours of Le Mans, 24 Hours of Daytona, 24 Hours of Spa, 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans. Born in Auch, Gers, Pilet won the Championnat de France Formula Renault 2.0 in 2004 and competed at the Formula Renault 2000 Eurocup. In 2005 he switched to Formula Renault 3.5 Series, finishing 11th having missed three rounds. He drove full-time in Formula Renault 3.5 in 2006, but he finished 21st. Pilet switched to sports car racing in 2007, and was crowned Porsche Carrera Cup France champion with IMSA Performance. In 2009 and 2010 he raced full-time for IMSA Performance at the International GT Open together with Raymond Narac in a Super GT class Porsche 911. 2011 Super GT Season
The 2011 Autobacs Super GT Series was the nineteenth season of the Japan Automobile Federation Super GT Championship including the All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship (JGTC) era and the seventh season as the Super GT series. It also marked the twenty-ninth season of a JAF-sanctioned sports car racing championship dating back to the All Japan Sports Prototype Championship. It is a series for Grand Touring race cars divided into two categories: GT500 and GT300. The season began on May 1 and ended on November 13, 2011 after 8 races and 1 non-championship race. The Flying Lizard Motorsports group is a motorsport team from Sonoma, California, formed by Seth Neiman in early 2003. The 2008 American Le Mans Series season was the 38th season for the IMSA GT Championship, with the tenth season known as the American Le Mans Series. It was a series for Le Mans Prototypes (LMP) and Grand Tourer (GT) race cars divided into four classes: LMP1, LMP2, GT1, and GT2. It began March 15 and ended October 18 after eleven races. 2004 Formula Renault 2000 Eurocup
The 2004 Formula Renault 2000 Eurocup season was the fourteenth Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 season. The season began at Monza on 27 March and finished at Oschersleben on 18 September, after seventeen races. American driver Scott Speed scored eight victories at Hockenheimring, Brno, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Imola and Oschersleben during the season. He took the championship with a round to spare at the wheel of his Motopark Academy-run car, giving team based at Oschersleben their first Eurocup championship after double win on fellow circuit.
