Patrick Nagle (golfer)
Patrick Nagle (born September 21, 1987) is an American professional ice hockey goaltender who is currently playing for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League (AHL). Playing career On March 22, 2011, the Tampa Bay Lightning signed the undrafted free agent to a two-year entry-level contract. He played NCAA hockey at Ferris State University prior to turning professional. In his first professional season in 2011–12, with the Florida Everblades, Nagle shared primary goaltending duties with John Muse, playing 39 games. During the playoffs, Nagle recorded the best goals against average and tied for first in save percentage, at 1.42 and .941, respectively. After winning the Kelly Cup, Nagle was called up to the AHL for the Lightning organization's affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals, during their Calder Cup championship series against the Toronto Marlies. The Lehigh Valley Phantoms are a professional ice hockey team based in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The team competes in the American Hockey League (AHL) and serves as the primary development team for the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League. The 2012 Kelly Cup Playoffs of the ECHL started on April 2, 2012 following the end of the 2011–12 ECHL season, 2011–12 ECHL regular season. The playoff format remains unchanged from that of the 2011 Kelly Cup playoffs, 2011 postseason. 15 teams qualified for the playoffs, being the top seven teams from the Western Conference and the top eight teams from the Eastern Conference. Idaho Steelheads
The Idaho Steelheads are an American professional minor league ice hockey team based in Boise, Idaho, and a member of the ECHL. The Steelheads play in the Mountain Division of the ECHL's Western Conference since the 2016–17 season. Calder Cup
The Calder Cup is the trophy awarded annually to the playoff champions of the American Hockey League. It was first presented in 1937 to the Syracuse Stars. The cup is made of sterling silver mounted on a base of Brazilian mahogany. In its current shape, the trophy has a two-tiered square base with commemorative plaques for each of the AHL's 20 most recent champions: 12 on the bottom tier and 8 on the top tier. Each time a new championship plaque is added, the oldest plaque is retired and joins a display at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto.
