Patrick Dohm (born 1935) was the Associate Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of British Columbia for 15 years. Dohm was born and raised in Kamloops, and obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver Vancouver ( ) is a major city in western Canada, located in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia. Kamloops
Kamloops ( ) is a city in south-central British Columbia, Canada, at the confluence of the South flowing North Thompson River and the West flowing Thompson River, east of Kamloops Lake. Robert Pickton
Robert William "Willy" Pickton (born October 24, 1949) is a Canadian serial killer and former pig farmer. He is suspected of being one of the most prolific serial killers in Canadian history. After dropping out of school, Pickton left a butcher's apprenticeship to begin working full-time at his family's pig farm. He is believed to have begun his murders in the early 1980s after inheriting the farm. Arrested in 2002, he was convicted in 2007 of the second-degree murders of six women and was also the subject of a lengthy investigation that yielded evidence of numerous other murders. Pickton was charged with the deaths of an additional twenty women, many of them from Vancouver's Downtown Eastside, but these charges were stayed by the Crown in 2010. David William Ramsay
David William Ramsay (1943–2008) was a Canadian lawyer and judge notorious for being sent to prison for sexual assault on minors, some of whom appeared before him in court. Ramsey was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in 1943 and moved to Port Alberni, British Columbia, with his family after the war. He received a degree in Education from the University of Victoria in 1964 and taught elementary school for two years. He then returned to the University of Victoria from which he received a law degree in 1971. He articled under the late Harold Bogle, QC, in Prince George, British Columbia, following which he worked for a year at the firm of Phelps & Voyer in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. Anne MacKenzie (judge)
Anne MacKenzie is a judge of the Court of Appeal of British Columbia since January 1, 2012. She previously served as the Associate Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of British Columbia. MacKenzie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1973 followed by a Bachelor of Laws in 1977 from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.
