Patrick Body
Patrick Body (born January 17, 1982) was a former professional gridiron football cornerback and safety free agent. He was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 2005. He played college football at Toledo. Body was also a member of the Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He has one son, Patrick Body Jr who attends Gateway High School. Patrick Body Jr is a 3 Star DB in the class of 2022 who holds multiple division 1 offers. Early years Body attended Schenley High School and was a student and a letterman in football. In football, he played wide receiver and defensive back and as a senior, he led his team to the first City Championship in 49 years and was an All-City League selection and an All-City League Academic selection. Cornerback
A cornerback (CB) is a member of the defensive backfield or secondary in gridiron football. Cornerbacks cover receivers most of the time, but also blitz and defend against such offensive running plays as sweeps and reverses. They create turnovers through hard tackles, interceptions, and deflecting forward passes. Other members of the defensive backfield include strong and free safeties. The cornerback position requires speed, agility, strength, and the ability to make rapid sharp turns. A cornerback's skill set typically requires proficiency in anticipating the quarterback, backpedaling, executing single and zone coverage, disrupting pass routes, block shedding, and tackling. The Utah Blaze was a professional arena football team based in Salt Lake City, Utah and competed in the West Division (AFL), West Division of the Arena Football League. Home games were played at the EnergySolutions Arena. In 2013, the team did not submit proper documentation to remain in the AFL and the entire roster was reassigned to other teams in the league.
