Patrick Ayota
Patrick Michael Ayota is a Ugandan accountant and corporate executive, who serves as the Managing Director of National Social Security Fund of Uganda, effective 18 August 2023. Between December 2022 and August 2023, he served as CEO/Managing Director at NSSF Uganda, in acting capacity. His contract as MD/CEO runs until August 2028. From 29 October 2017 until August 2023, he served as the Deputy Managing Director of NSSF Uganda. He also concurrently serves as the Chairman of the New Vision Group, a media conglomerate, partly owned by the Government of Uganda. Tororo
Tororo is a town in the Eastern Region of Uganda. It is the main municipal, administrative, and commercial center of Tororo District. History Tororo was garrisoned by the Uganda Army's Air and Sea Battalion during the Uganda–Tanzania War (1978–79). On 2 March 1979, rebels loyal to Milton Obote attacked the town, whereupon part of the garrison defected while the rest was routed. Tororo was recaptured by the Uganda Army in a counter-attack two days later, though many local civilians were displaced by the fighting. A few weeks later, however, Ugandan President Idi Amin's rule throughout Uganda collapsed and the garrison of Tororo reportedly mutinied yet again. In late April 1979, the Tanzania People's Defence Force's (TPDF) 19th Battalion, 208th Brigade, moved into Tororo. They encountered no resistance. The town was largely deserted and completely looted. Geraldine Ssali Busuulwa
Geraldine Ssali Busuulwa is a Ugandan accountant and business administrator. She serves as the Permanent Secretary in the Uganda Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives. She was appointed permanent secretary on the 15th July 2021. Before that, she served as the Deputy managing director of the National Social Security Fund (Uganda) (NSSF Uganda) from 20 March 2011, until 29 October 2017. Richard Patrick Byarugaba is a Ugandan business executive, banker, and entrepreneur. He is the former managing director and chief executive officer of the National Social Security Fund (Uganda), a semi-autonomous retirement pension organisation for non-government employees in Uganda.
