Patrick Alavi
Patrick Alavi is a German musician and DJ specialising in funk and electronic. Career History In 1996, Alavi released his first EP as Dj Alavi on Sonic House, a Sub Label of the German Techno Label Atomic Silence. In 2001, Alavi was signed by Bad Boy Bill for his labels Moody Recordings and International House Records. That same year Alavi signed 2 EP's on the French label Vertigo on which also Romain Tranchart from Modjo released his first EP as Funk Legacy. In 2004, Kris Menace signed Alavi for two EP's on his Label Work It Baby. The track "Power" later was re-released in the UK with new mixes on Azuli Records. The track "Come To Me" reached No. 3 in the UK Buzz Charts. Frechen
Frechen (; Ripuarian: ''Frechem'') is a town in the Rhein-Erft District, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Frechen was first mentioned in 877. It is situated at the western Cologne city border. It is the site of the 1257 Battle of Frechen between Conrad von Hochstaden, Archbishop of Cologne and the people of the town. In the 16th century it acquired a name for its terra cotta artifacts, especially the " Bartmannskrug" (beardman jug). In the late 18th century lignite was industrially mined. Digging for lignite dominated the city's economy until the end of the 20th century. In 1891 the first briquette factory was opened. On 2 September 1951 Frechen received its city-rights including the villages of Bachem, Hücheln and Buschbell. Virgin Records is a record label owned by Universal Music Group. It originally founded as a British independent record label in 1972 by entrepreneurs Richard Branson, Simon Draper, Nik Powell, and musician Tom Newman. Hedkandi is an English record label, events and music brand owned by Ministry of Sound. Its back catalogue includes both artist albums and dance music compilations. Lucas Cornelis van Scheppingen (born 22 October 1976), better known under his stage name Laidback Luke, is a Dutch DJ and music producer. He notably remixed the Robin S. song, " Show Me Love" which charted at No. 11 on the UK charts in 2009. He is also the founder of Mixmash Records. Gossip (or The Gossip) was an American indie rock band formed in Searcy, Arkansas, originally active from 1999 until 2016. For most of their career, the band consisted of singer Beth Ditto, multi-instrumentalist Brace Paine, and drummer Hannah Blilie.
