Palakonda revenue division (or Palakonda division) is an administrative division in the Parvathipuram Manyam district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. East Coast Railway Zone (India)
The East Coast Railway (abbreviated ECoR) is one of the 19 railway zones of Indian Railways. It came into existence on 1 April 2003. The headquarters of the zone are at Bhubaneswar, Odisha History Consequent upon the parliament's approval, East Coast Railway was the first of the seven new zones to be inaugurated by the then Prime Minister of India H. D. Deve Gowda on 8 August 1996. The Officer-on-Special Duty took over charge of the newly declared Zone on 16 September 1996. Gunupur
Gunupur is a Nagar Palika, Municipality and one of the sub-divisional headquarters of Rayagada district in the Indian States and territories of India, state of Odisha. It is the second biggest town in Rayagada district. History Gunupur was one of the important centers in the erstwhile Kingdom of Jeypore, Jeypore Kingdom. Rajah Narasingh Dev was the third son of Maharajah Vikram Dev I (1758–1781 CE) of Jeypore and was appointed as the ruler of Gunupur and Gudari, Rayagada, Gudari region. Vamsadhara River
River Vamsadhara or River Banshadhara is an important east flowing river between Rushikulya and Godavari, in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh states in India. The river originates in the border of Thuamul Rampur in the Kalahandi district and Kalyansinghpur in Rayagada district of Odisha and runs for a distance of about 254 kilometers, where it joins the Bay of Bengal at Kalingapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
