''The Pat Sajak Show'' was an American late-night television talk show that aired on CBS from January 9, 1989, to April 13, 1990. Cast The show was hosted by Pat Sajak, best known as host of the game show ''Wheel of Fortune''. To do the talk show, Sajak left the NBC daytime version of ''Wheel'', but remained the host of the syndicated nighttime version he is still hosting as of 2022. Sajak's announcer and sidekick on the show was Dan Miller, his friend and former colleague from their time working together in the mid-1970s at WSM-TV (now WSMV-TV) in Nashville, Tennessee. The in-studio band was led by jazz musician Tom Scott, who subsequently served the same role on the short-lived '' Chevy Chase Show''. Fred Wolf (writer)
Fred Wolf is an American film director, screenwriter, television writer, and former stand-up comedian. Career Wolf began his career performing stand-up in Los Angeles in the 1980s, and landed his first major television role as co-host (with Paul Provenza) on the Comedy Central variety series ''Comics Only'' in the early 1990s. In 1992, Wolf joined the writing staff of ''Saturday Night Live'' and also served for several years as head writer up until 1996. In 1996, he joined the ''SNL'' cast as a featured player, before leaving the show in October of that same year. Since leaving ''SNL'', he has collaborated with many of his former ''SNL'' co-workers, writing and directing films for ''SNL'' stars such as Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, Norm Macdonald, David Spade, and Rob Schneider. ''The Chevy Chase Show'' was an American late night talk show hosted by actor and comedian Chevy Chase that aired in 1993 on Fox. The series was canceled after five weeks on the air. Peter Ueberroth
Peter Victor Ueberroth (; born September 2, 1937) is an American sports and business executive known for his involvement in the Olympics and in Major League Baseball. A Los Angeles-based businessman, he was the chairman of the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee which brought the games to Los Angeles in 1984. Ueberroth was named 1984's Time Man of the Year, ''Time'' Man of the Year for his success in organizing the Olympic games. The Judds
The Judds were an American country music duo composed of lead vocalist Wynonna Judd and her mother, Naomi Judd. The duo signed to RCA Nashville in 1983 and released six studio albums between then and 1991. The Judds were one of the most successful acts in country music history, winning five Grammy Awards for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal, and nine Country Music Association awards. They also charted more than twenty singles on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Songs charts, including fourteen that went to number one.
