Pat Crowley
Patricia Crowley (born September 17, 1933) is an American actress. She was also frequently billed as Pat Crowley. Early life Crowley was born in Olyphant, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Helen (''née'' Swartz) and coal mining foreman Vincent Crowley. Her sister Ann was also an actress. Career Crowley played Sally Carver in the film ''Forever Female'' (1953), starring Ginger Rogers and William Holden. She starred as Doctor Autumn Claypool alongside Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis in ''Money from Home'' (1953), and in their final film together '' Hollywood or Bust'' (1956), in which she played Terry Roberts. Her roles in ''Forever Female'' and ''Money from Home'' brought her the Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year - Actress. Olyphant, Pennsylvania
Olyphant is a borough in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is northeast of downtown Scranton, on the Lackawanna River in the heart of the anthracite region of the state. Its main source of employment was the mining and shipping of coal. It was the headquarters of the Lackawanna Coal Company. Other industries of the past were the manufacturing of blasting powder, iron and steel goods, cigars, and silks. Olyphant experienced a severe downturn in the 1950s. There was once a thriving garment industry with numerous dress factories in the downtown area. There was also a slaughterhouse. Audie Leon Murphy (20 June 1925 – 28 May 1971) was an American soldier, actor and songwriter. He was one of the most decorated American combat soldiers of World War II. He received every military combat award for valor available from the United States Army, as well as French and Belgian awards for heroism. Murphy received the Medal of Honor for valor that he demonstrated at the age of 19 for single-handedly holding off a company of German soldiers for an hour at the Colmar Pocket in France in January 1945, before leading a successful counterattack while wounded and out of ammunition.
