Past Perfect Future Tense
''Past Perfect Future Tense'' is the first solo album of Norwegian band a-ha's Magne Furuholmen as Magne F. Coldplay members, Will Champion and Guy Berryman collaborated on this project as well as Travis member, Andy Dunlop. The album was recorded at Kensaltown Recording Studios in London. To launch the record Magne Furuholmen set up a website featuring hidden links to be found among the album lyrics. The album was launched in conjunction with ''"Payne’s Gray"'', a portfolio consisting of 12 prints featuring extracts of the album lyrics, followed by a coffee table art book (''"Payne's Gray"'', 2004,Hatje Cantz Publishers, ). Furuholmen told Norwegian newspaper VG: "It all started out as an ordinary songwriting process in the wake of the last a-ha album, but all the way I’ve had this feeling that it was turning into a solo project." Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s. Originally used to describe independent record labels, the term became associated with the music they produced and was initially used interchangeably with alternative rock or "Pop rock, guitar pop rock". Martin Terefe
Martin Terefe (born 1969, Stockholm, Sweden) is a Swedish record producer and songwriter, now living and working in London, who has produced Grammy, Brit and Juno award -winning albums with artists like Jason Mraz, James Morrison and KT Tunstall. He is also a member of the group Apparatjik. Biography Terefe spent his early years in Caracas in Venezuela, where he learnt to play guitar, before moving back to Stockholm in 1979. At the age of 15 he was signed up to a publishing deal and briefly fronted a rock band, but soon realised that he preferred a role writing and producing for other people. Magne Furuholmen
Magne Furuholmen (born 1 November 1962) is a Norwegian musician and visual artist. He was named Knight First Class of the Order of St. Olav by King Harald for his services to Norwegian music and his international success. ''A Dot of Black in the Blue of Your Bliss'' is the second solo album by Norwegian band a-ha's Magne Furuholmen as Magne F. It was released as a 300 copy limited six-track vinyl EP in February 2008 and then as a regular CD in May 2008. The limited vinyl copies included a special hand painted cover by Magne Furuholmen himself as well as the CD and a poster featuring all the hand painted covers that were part of one bigger artwork. Furuholmen painted the record covers at Oslo's City Hall in January 2008. The performance was streamed on his website. The album sees the collaboration of Guy Berryman from Coldplay as a bass player. Travis are a Scottish rock band formed in Glasgow in 1990, composed of Fran Healy (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Dougie Payne (bass guitar, backing vocals), Andy Dunlop (lead guitar, banjo, backing vocals) and Neil Primrose (drums, percussion). Andy Dunlop (born Andrew Dunlop, 16 March 1972, Lenzie, East Dunbartonshire, Scotland) is a Scottish musician, who is the lead guitarist of Scottish indie band, Travis.
