''Passport'' is a 1961 Indian Bollywood drama film directed by Pramod Chakravorty. The film stars Madhubala and Pradeep Kumar. ''Passport'' was released in October 1961 and became a commercial success. It was the last film to star Madhubala and Kumar together, and also one of the last films of Madhubala. Plot While assisting the Bombay Police in arresting diamond smugglers, Shekhar (Pradeep Kumar) suspects Bhagwandas (Nazir Hussain) who owns a jewellery shop. Soon, he discovers that Bhagwandas is the father of Rita, his love interest (Madhubala). Pramod Chakravorty (15 August 1929 – 12 December 2004) was an Indian Hindi film producer and director. Moolchand was a prolific character actor in Hindi and Panjabi cinema, who was active from 1950 to his death in the late 1980s. He appeared in over 250 films. These films spanned the parallel cinema of Guru Dutt to the wrestler films of Dara Singh. He is known for his big stomach. The first known appearance of Moolchand is in 1950. He was often featured in the films of the directors Guru Dutt and Raj Kapoor, working on 6 of the former and 8 of the latter. Other actors he was often seen with were Dev Anand, B. R.
