The production was filmed in Monterey, California. John Ince (actor)
John Edward Ince (August 29, 1878 – April 10, 1947), also credited as John E. Ince, was an American stage and motion pictures actor, a film director, and the eldest brother of Thomas H. Ince and Ralph Ince. John Ince became a member of The Lambs Club in 1919 like his brother Ralph, who had joined in 1916. A leading man from the early 1910s, he also directed and scripted several of his own vehicles. Concentrating almost exclusively on directing from 1915 through 1928, Ince returned before the cameras as a character actor in the early years of the talkies. Florence Turner
Florence Turner (January 6, 1885 – August 28, 1946) was an American actress who became known as the "Vitagraph Girl" in early silent films. Biography Born in New York City, Turner was pushed into appearing on the stage at age three by her ambitious mother. Turner became a regular performer in a variety of productions. In 1906, she joined the fledgling motion picture business, signing with the pioneering Vitagraph Studios and making her film debut in ''How to Cure a Cold'' (June 8, 1907). At the time there were no stars per se, unless an already famous stage star made a movie. Performers were not even mentioned by name. Long, drawn out screen credits were non-existent. There was nothing but the name of the company and the picture. Douglas Gerrard (12 August 1891 – 5 June 1950) was an Irish-American actor and film director of the silent and early sound era. He appeared in more than 110 films between 1913 and 1949. He also directed 23 films between 1916 and 1920. He was born in Dublin, Ireland and died in Hollywood, California. He was the brother of actor Charles K. Gerrard. Stuart Holmes (born Joseph Liebchen; March 10, 1884 – December 29, 1971) was an American actor and sculptor whose career spanned seven decades. He appeared in almost 450 films between 1909 and 1964, sometimes credited as Stewart Holmes. Biography Holmes was born Joseph Liebchen on March 10, 1884, in Chicago, Illinois, where he was educated. For 20 years, Holmes performed in vaudeville and on stage, with the latter often being in Shakespeare's plays. His work in the theater included a stint in Germany. Holmes's film career began in 1911 and ended with ''The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance'' (1962). As a sculptor Holmes created work for at least three California United States post offices — in Oceanside (1936), Claremont (1937), and Bell (1937). Holmes's wife, Blanca, was an actress; his son, Phillips Holmes, was an actor.
