Passakorn Suwannawat
Passakorn Suwannawat (born 1 May 1986, Nakhon Pathom, Thailand) is a former Thai professional snooker player. Career Early career Suwannawat first turned professional in the 2006–07 season by winning the 2006 ACBS Asian Under-21 Snooker Championship. He dropped off the main tour after just one season. Suwannawat reached the final of the 2007 IBSF World Snooker Championship, losing to compatriot Atthasit Mahitthi. 2011/2012 He returned to the main tour in the 2011–12 season after winning the 2011 ACBS Asian Snooker Championship. Due to being a new player on the tour and therefore unranked he would need to win four qualifying matches to reach the ranking event main draws. He came closest to doing this in the Shanghai Masters where he defeated Adam Duffy, Jimmy Robertson and six-time world champion Steve Davis, before losing in the final round 1–5 to Stephen Lee. Nakhon Pathom
Nakhon Pathom ( th, นครปฐม, ) is a city (''thesaban nakhon'') in central Thailand, the former capital of Nakhon Pathom province. One of the most important landmarks is the giant Phra Pathommachedi. The Players Tour Championship 2011/2012 was a series of snooker tournaments which started on 18 June 2011 and ended on 18 March 2012 with events held in England and Europe. European events were no longer called Euro Players Tour Championship (EPTC) and were included alongside other PTC events. Jamie Jones (snooker Player)
Jamie Jones (born 14 February 1988) is a Welsh professional snooker player from Neath. At age 14, he was the youngest ever player to make a maximum 147 break in competition, a record that has since been beaten by Judd Trump. At the 2012 World Snooker Championship, Jones reached his first ranking quarter-final. He made his second appearance in the quarter-finals of a Triple Crown tournament at the 2016 UK Championship. The 2013 BetVictor Welsh Open was a professional ranking snooker tournament that took place between 11 and 17 February 2013 at the Newport Centre in Newport, Wales. It was the seventh ranking event of the 2012/2013 season, and the first time that BetVictor sponsored the event. At the tournament Pankaj Advani became the first Indian player to reach the quarter-final of a ranking event. Joe Perry (snooker Player)
Joe Perry (born 13 August 1974) is an English professional snooker player from Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. Often referred to as "the Fen Potter" and also nicknamed "the Gentleman", Perry climbed the rankings steadily after turning professional in 1992 and reached the Top 16 for the first time in 2002. His first ranking final came at the 2001 European Open and he had to wait another 13 years for a second which came at the 2014 Wuxi Classic. Ben Woollaston
Ben Woollaston (born 14 May 1987) is an English professional snooker player from Leicester. His sole professional title came at the minor-ranking third Players Tour Championship event in 2011. Woollaston's only ranking event final came at the 2015 Welsh Open, in which he lost to John Higgins. Michael Wasley
Michael Wasley (born 23 February 1990) is an English former professional snooker player. Wasley turned professional in 2012 after qualifying via Event 3 of Q School and gained a two-year tour card for the 2012–13 and 2013–14 snooker seasons. He won five matches in the event, concluding with a 4–3 victory over Fraser Patrick. His biggest achievement to date is reaching the last 16 of the 2014 World Championship. The 2012 Wuxi Classic was a professional ranking snooker tournament held between 25 June–1 July 2012 at the Wuxi City Sports Park Stadium in Wuxi, China. It was the first year of the tournament as a ranking event, having been non-ranking in its previous playings. It was also the first ranking event of the 2012/2013 season. Mark Selby was the defending champion, but he lost in the quarter-finals 5–4 against Stuart Bingham. Ricky Walden won his second ranking title by defeating Bingham 10–4 in the final. 2012–13 Snooker Season
The 2012–13 snooker season was a series of snooker tournaments played between 16 May 2012 and 6 May 2013. The season featured two new ranking events: the Wuxi Classic and the International Championship. The tour had a record five ranking events in China, and three new PTC events in Asia. The tour also visited Bulgaria for the first time in its history, and returned to Poland, Belgium and Australia. Before the start of the season World Snooker requested every player to sign a players contract, that would allow players to choose which events they want to enter – no player was forced to play in any event. Neil Robertson
Neil Robertson (born 11 February 1982) is an Australian professional snooker player who is a former world champion and former world number one. The only Australian to have won a ranking event, he is also the only player from outside the United Kingdom to have completed snooker's Triple Crown, having won the World Championship in 2010, the Masters in 2012 and 2022, and the UK Championship in 2013, 2015 and 2020. He has claimed a career total of 23 ranking titles, having won at least one professional tournament every year since 2006.
