Chiara Passa
Chiara Passa (born 1973) is a visual artist working in media art since the second half of the 1990s. Her artistic research analyses differences in virtual spaces through a variety of techniques - often using augmented reality and virtual reality technologies. She works with animation and interactive video-installation, digital art in public space as site-specific artworks and Projection mapping, video sculpture, art-applications and Widget (GUI) for mobile platforms. Main artworks In 1996, Passa began her work in animation and video-installation, which has been described as a constant study of the figure, geometric and essential, combined with a three-dimensional and dynamic vision of the virtual space. Frank Passa
Frank Passa (1916–2001) was an internationally known American maker of bows and violins (archetier and luthier). A native of New York City, Frank Passa was born in 1916 to poor Sicily, Sicilian immigrants. He was a pupil of Simone Fernando Sacconi a very talented violin maker from Italy. Sacconi and his shop (Rembert Wurlitzer Co.) helped develop many of the modern techniques of restoration that are still being used today. About a dozen pupils of his spread out across the United States, and Frank was one of them. Frank served in the Army during World War II and then began his career in San Francisco crafting and restoring violins and Bow (music), bows, a job he kept for 51 years until he was forced to retire in 1999 due to illness. Passa Quatro
Passa-Quatro is a municipality in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil. The population is 16,393 (2020 est.) in an area of 277.22 km2. It is part of the microrregion of São Lourenço. Environment The city was declared a hydro-mineral spa in 1941 due to its various fountains of torio-radioactive waters, which are reputedly sought out for curing liver and kidney problems. The winter is dry and the summer mild with temperatures varying between 16 and 22 degrees Celsius. In winter they can drop to 0 degrees with strong frost. This rural area has views of four of the ten highest peaks in the country. Trout fishing is possible all year. A tourist train service (narrow gauge) was inaugurated in the beginning of 2004 between the cities of Passa Quatro and Manacá.
