Antun Paško Kazali
Antun Pasko Kazali (29 April 1815 – 10 January 1894) was a Croatian folk-writer, poet and translator. Born in Dubrovnik (Ragusa), he went to school in Dubrovnik, studying philosophy and theology in Zadar (Zara). He was a parish priest in Ošlje near Ston and chaplain in Šipan. As a parish priest, he often came into conflict with church authorities. He spent his most creative period in Zadar, starting in 1855. He was a professor at the gymnasium in Zadar, teaching Latin, Greek, and Croatian (1855–1861), and in 1862 became a professor at Rijeka/Fiume gymnasium. The last ten years of his life were spent in Dubrovnik. He has written ''Spjev Zlatka'' (published in Zadar in 1856), ''Trista VICA widow'' (Zadar, 1857), ''A voice from the wilderness'' (Zadar, 1861) and ''Grobnik'' (Rijeka, 1863). Pasko Kuzman ( Macedonian: Паско Кузман; born 1947) is a Macedonian archaeologist. Work Kuzman has been working on the whole territory of North Macedonia, but especially in the Skopje area and Lake Ohrid, one of the deepest lakes in Europe. There, he has been excavating 3,000-year-old submerged sites of Lychnidos, and some remains in the area of the Samuil's Fortress, which were built probably at the time of Philip II. Pasko Rakic ( hr, Paško Rakić, ) is a Yugoslav-born American neuroscientist, who presently works in the Yale School of Medicine Department of Neuroscience in New Haven, Connecticut. His main research interest is in the development and evolution of the human brain. He was the founder and served as Chairman of the Department of Neurobiology at Yale, and was founder and Director of the Kavli Institute for Neuroscience. Dhimitër Pasko ( ro, Dimitrie Pascu; 13 September 1907 – 4 May 1967) was a well-known Albanian writer, literary critic and translator. Along with Ernest Koliqi he is considered as the founder of modern Albanian prose; in Albanian literature his pen name for which he gained fame was Mitrush Kuteli.
