Luigi L. Pasinetti (born 12 September 1930) is an Italian economist of the post-Keynesian school. Pasinetti is considered the heir of the " Cambridge Keynesians" and a student of Piero Sraffa and Richard Kahn. Along with them, as well as Joan Robinson, he was one of the prominent members on the "Cambridge, UK" side of the Cambridge capital controversy. His contributions to economics include developing the analytical foundations of neo-Ricardian economics, including the theory of value and distribution, as well as work in the line of Kaldorian theory of growth and income distribution. He has also developed the theory of structural change and economic growth, structural economic dynamics and uneven sectoral development. Andrea Pasinetti is an American entrepreneur and software engineer. He is the co-founder and CEO of Kira Learning, an Education Technology company. Pasinetti is also a Co-founder of VIAVIA, a video-first e-commerce platform. Previously he founded and was CEO of Teach For China, one of the most influential nonprofit organizations in China. Pasinetti attended Trinity School in New York and has an undergraduate degree from Princeton University. Antonio Pasinetti ( Montichiari, Brescia, 1863 – Milan, 1940) was an Italian painter. Biography Of humble origin, Pasinetti served his apprenticeship with the local painter Luigi Campini in Brescia. After attending the Moretto school there, he moved to Milan in 1880 and enrolled at the Brera Academy, where he graduated in drawing. Dissatisfaction with the academic teaching may have been the reason why he abandoned his studies and moved to Verona to attend the school of the painter Napoleone Nani, a practitioner of the new naturalistic approach. He travelled through northern Italy and specialized in landscape and portrait painting until 1889, when he settled definitively in Milan. Francesco Pasinetti
Francesco Pasinetti (1911–1949) was an Italian film director and screenwriter known largely for his documentaries. He also directed the 1934 realist feature film '' The Canal of the Angels'' set in Venice. His brother was the writer Pier Maria Pasinetti. A native of Venice, Pasinetti attempted in the final days of the Second World War to persuade the Allies to support making Venice the capital of the post-war Italian film industry (Venice had emerged as the centre of filmmaking in the Fascist Italian Social Republic).
