Pasighat Airport
Pasighat Airport is a regional airport serving Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh, India. History The airstrip was laid down during the Sino-Indian War of 1962 and saw little use after the war until the Indian Air Force signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Arunachal Pradesh to develop the airstrip in 2009. The IAF took over the airstrip in February 2010. An Air Traffic Control Tower, apron for parking aircraft, a perimeter road and security wall was constructed. The upgraded airstrip was inaugurated by Kiren Rijiju in August 2016 and a Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighter of the Indian Air Force landed on the airstrip as part of the inaugural function. Tezpur Airport , also known as Salonibari Air Force Station, is a regional airport and an Indian Air Force Station serving Tezpur, Assam, India. It is located in Salonibari, which is situated 8.5 km (5.2 mi) from the city centre. The airport covers an area of 22 acres, with the passenger terminal. Lilabari Airport or North Lakhimpur Airport is located in the Lakhimpur district in the state of Assam, India. It serves the town of North Lakhimpur, located 8 km (5 mi) from the town.
