Pasieguito
Bernardino Pérez Elizarán (21 May 1925 Hernani, Guipúzcoa – 21 October 2002 Valencia), commonly known as Pasieguito, was a Spanish football player and manager. As a player, in an 18-year career, Pasieguito played at three clubs, including multiple spells at Valencia CF. With Valencia he made 293 appearances overall and won the Copa del Rey in 1949 and 1954. In a 22-year managerial career he managed four clubs, including Valencia over three distinct periods; he won the Copa del Rey in 1979 and the UEFA Super Cup in 1980. He was the most successful manager in the history of CE Sabadell: under his guidance, the Catalan club finished fourth in the 1968–69 La Liga and qualified for the 1969–70 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, their only European appearance ever. Valencia CF Managers
Valencia has had 60 managers in its history. The first manager was the Czechoslovak Antonin Fivebr, who was at the club from 1923 until 1927, and in a second stint at the club from 1929 until 1931. Of the 60 people to have managed Valencia, 35 have been Spaniards and 25 foreigners. In some cases, the Spaniards have been former Valencia players that agreed to take charge after the sacking of the regular manager that season, as were the cases of Eduardo Cubells, Pasieguito or Manolo Mestre. CE Sabadell
Centre d'Esports Sabadell Futbol Club, S.A.D. () is a Spanish football team based in Sabadell, a city in the province of Barcelona in the autonomous community of Catalonia. Founded in 1903, it plays in Segunda División RFEF – Group 2, holding home games at ''Estadi de la Nova Creu Alta''. The side has competed in national leagues since 1928, gaining its first promotion to the Segunda División in 1933 and then the La Liga in 1944. 1980 UEFA Super Cup
The 1980 European Super Cup was played between Nottingham Forest and Valencia, with Valencia winning on the away goals rule. Forest won the home leg 2–1, with both goals coming from Ian Bowyer. Valencia won the return at the Mestalla 1–0 thus winning on the away goals rule, this was the only time the UEFA Super Cup was settled by this method. The UEFA Super Cup (called European Super Cup prior to 1995) is an annual contest played between the previous season's UEFA Champions League (formerly the European Cup) and UEFA Europa League (formerly UEFA Cup) winners. The first final, played over two legs between Dutch team Ajax and Glasgow's Rangers is considered unofficial by UEFA. Rangers were banned from European competition due to the behaviour of their fans but, having won the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup the previous season, contested the title. Tony Barton (footballer)
Anthony Edward Barton (8 April 1937 – 20 August 1993) was an English footballer, playing as an outside right, and football manager. He was born in Sutton, Surrey and managed Aston Villa to success in the 1982 European Cup, three months after taking charge. He followed this up by beating Barcelona in the 1982 European Super Cup. Playing career Tony Barton won England Schoolboy (1 cap) and Youth (5 caps) honours before beginning his football career with Fulham who he joined as a junior. After a spell on loan to Sutton United, he turned professional with Fulham in May 1954. He went on to score 8 times in 49 games for Fulham. He moved to Nottingham Forest in December 1959 and after never really establishing himself at Forest, making only 22 appearances (scoring once), moved to Portsmouth in December 1961, where he subsequently became player-coach. Brian Clough
Brian Howard Clough ( ; 21 March 1935 – 20 September 2004) was an English football player and manager, primarily known for his successes as a manager with Derby County and Nottingham Forest. He is one of four managers to have won the English league with two different clubs. Clough played as a striker for Middlesbrough and Sunderland, scoring 251 league goals in 274 matches; he remains one of the Football League's highest goalscorers. He won two England caps. He entered management after his playing career was ended by a serious injury at the age of 29.
