Pascall (company)
Pascall is an Australian and New Zealand confectionery brand, which is owned by Mondelēz International. History Pascall products were first produced as a joint venture between the Cadbury Brothers and James Pascall at the Cadbury factory in Tasmania, Australia. In 1938, Pascall products commenced production in New Zealand. In 1981, Australian Pascall production moved from Tasmania to Melbourne. In New Zealand, most of the products produced by Pascall were made at their own factory in Avondale, Auckland until December 2009, when the factory was closed down and production moved to the Cadbury factory in Dunedin and to factories in Australia and Thailand. The response to the changes has not been popular with New Zealanders, claiming that the Thai made Minties are much softer and do not taste the same. Pascall Prize
The Pascall Prize for Arts Criticism, formerly known as the Pascall Prize and then the Walkley-Pascall Award or Walkley-Pascall Award for Arts Criticism, is one of two annual Walkley Arts Journalism prizes awarded by the Walkley Foundation. Monica is a red wine grape that is grown primarily in Sardinia and is one of the few grapes that wine regulations allow to appear on the wine label. Alex Pascall
Alex Pascall, OBE (born November 1936), is a British broadcaster, journalist, musician, composer, oral historian and educator. Based in Britain for more than 50 years, he was one of the developers of the Notting Hill Carnival, is a political campaigner and was part of the team behind the birth of Britain's first national black newspaper ''The Voice''. Credited with having "established a black presence in the British media", Yinka Sunmonu, "Pascall, Alex", in Alison Donnell (ed.), ''Companion to Contemporary Black British Culture'', Routledge, 2002, p. 323. Geraldine Pascall
Geraldine Pascall (1944 – 17 February 1983) was a flamboyant Sydney-based Australian journalist who died suddenly of a stroke, aged 38. A graduate of the University of Sydney with a degree in political science, Pascall worked for ''The Australian'' (News Ltd) broadsheet newspaper for thirteen years. Pascall was well known for her theatre and film reviews and her food and wine columns. At the time of her death, her best known column was the ''Indulgence Page'', where she wrote on food, wine, fashion and society; though she had also begun writing about Australian Federal politics. Jeremy Pascall
Jeremy Pascall (Born as Jeremy James Zuppinger, 1946 - 30 Aug 2001) was an English screenwriter, broadcaster, journalist and author. He specialized in writing about humour and rock music, starting his career at the magazine ''New Musical Express''. At 26 he moved on to be a producer at London's Capital Radio Capital London is a radio station owned and operated by the Global media company as part of its national Capital FM Network. As Capital Radio it was launched in the London area in 1973 as one of Britain's first two commercial radio stations. .... He has written several books. He died on 30 August 2001 from throat cancer.
