Party Membership Card (russian: Партийный билет) is a 1936 Soviet crime drama film directed by Ivan Pyryev. Plot The team of one Moscow plant is joined by Siberians Pavel Kurganov, who is distinguished by his intelligence and diligence, thanks to which he almost immediately becomes a production leader and marries the most productive factory worker Anna Kulikova. It would seem everything is fine, but Pavel is a spy. Ivan Aleksandrovich Pyryev (russian: Ива́н Алекса́ндрович Пы́рьев; – 7 February 1968) was a Soviet-Russian film director and screenwriter remembered as the high priest of Stalinist cinema. Erast Pavlovich Garin (russian: Эра́ст Па́влович Га́рин; – 4 September 1980) was a Soviet and Russian actor, director and screenwriter. He was, together with Igor Ilyinsky and Sergey Martinson, one of the leading comic actors of Vsevolod Meyerhold's company and of the Soviet cinema. He was named People's Artist of the USSR in 1977. __NOTOC__ Garin was born in Ryazan as Erast Gerasimov. He started his acting career in 1919 in an amateur theatre of the Ryazan military district. In 1926 he finished his education in the experimental theatrical workshops of the People's Commissariat for Education. He always looked up upon Meyerhold and Michael Chekhov as his mentors, rejecting naturalistic acting techniques propagated by Konstantin Stanislavski and paying utmost importance to voice and gesture. Ada Ignatievna Voytsik (russian: Ада Игнатьевна Войцик; 1 August 19052 September 1982) was a Soviet actress. In 1935 she received the title RSFSR Honored Artist. Biography Ada Ignatievna Voytsik was born on 1 August 1905 in Moscow. In 1923 Ada graduated from secondary school and entered the acting department of the State College of Cinematography (today known as VGIK), where she graduated in 1927. She started acting in cinema in the year 1925. In 1934 Ada Voytsik joined the staff of the Mosfilm film studio. She married director Ivan Pyryev and they had a son, Eric Pyryev (1931-1970), who also subsequently became a director. In 1941 together with the studio she was evacuated to Alma-Ata. On her return to Moscow in 1943, Ada became an actress at the National Film Actors' Theatre, where she worked until her retirement in 1961.
