Parthiban Kanavu (2003 Film)
''Parthiban Kanavu'' ( ''Parthiban's Dream'') is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language magical realism romantic drama film written and directed by debutante Karu Pazhaniappan, an assistant to Parthiban. The film stars Srikanth and Sneha, where the latter plays a dual role. It had Manivannan and Vivek in supporting roles. The film's score and soundtrack are composed by Vidyasagar. The film released on 16 May 2003 and became a major success. This movie was remade in Telugu as ''Ammayi Bagundi''. Plot Parthiban is a marketing executive who loves spending time with his friends. Karuppaih Palaniappan, credited on-screen as Karu Palaniappan, is an Indian film director, actor, and television host who works in the Tamil film industry. He has also hosted the show Thamizha Thamizha on Zee Tamil. Biography Palaniappan hails from Karaikudi. Karthik (born 7 November 1980) is an Indian playback singer and composer. Karthik started his professional singing career as a backing vocalist and has since been working as a playback singer. Yugabharathi is a Tamil poet and lyricist. His birth name was "Santhanam Desan" and he was known as "Santhanam" by his family and friends. Harini (singer)
Harini (born 30 April 1979) is an Indian film playback singer and classical singer who sings in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada films, working with many leading film composers. She is married to another playback singer, Tippu. Harini learnt Carnatic music from Gowri and Radha Viswanathan from the age of four. In her later years, she learned from Sudha Raghunathan and currently from Suguna Purushotthaman. She used to participate in school competitions and in one such competition which she won, A. R. Rahman who distributed the prizes invited the winners to his studio to record their voices.
