Parni Iz Baku
The Guys from Baku (russian: Парни из Баку, az, Bakılı oğlanlar) is a KVN team from Baku, Azerbaijan that was active during the late 1980s and the early 1990s. They were Major League Champions in 1992, Finalists in 1993, and Champions of the "Tournament of Ten" in 2000. Anar Mammadkhanov
Anar Jamal oghlu Mammadkhanov ( az, Anar Camal oğlu Məmmədxanov, 20 July 1970, Baku, Azerbaijan SSR, Soviet Union – 23 April 2011, Baku, Azerbaijan) was a Member of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan, social activist and the captain of Guys from Baku KVN team. Life After graduating from Baku State University in 1991, he became the captain of Parni iz Baku KVN team. He served as an MP from Surakhani constituency from 1995 to 2005. He was widely praised for creating Day.az, which was Azerbaijan's first news portal. On 23 April 2011, he died from sudden heart attack. Bahram Arif oglu Bagirzade ( az, Bəhram Arif oglu Bağırzadə) (born September 4, 1972 in Baku, Azerbaijan) is a TV host, actor, comedian and film director. Biography In 1994, he graduated from Azerbaijan State University with a degree in filmmaking. Worked three years in a psychological hospital. Elchin Azizov
Elchin Azizov ( az, Elçin Əzizov, born Elchin Yashar ogly Azizov; August 13, 1975) is an Azerbaijani opera baritone, From 1992 to 2001, he was a member of the Parni iz Baku team of the Russian TV show KVN. Since 2008, he has been a soloist at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow. Biography Azizov was born in 1975, in Baku. He studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts and obtained his diploma as movie stage director. He continued his studies at the opera studio at the Baku Music Academy (with Azad Aliyev, conductor), and at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg (with Richard Miller and Alessandro Misciasci). There after he was a member of Galina Vishnevskaya's Opera Centre in Moscow, with Badri Maisuradze. Since 2008, Azizov has been a soloist at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow.
