Parkwood Secondary College (PSC) was a co-educational public secondary school located in the Melbourne, Victoria, Australia suburb of Ringwood North. The school was founded in 1979 as ''Parkwood High School'', and closed at the end of the 2012 school year. In 2014, the land and buildings were re-opened as the North Ringwood Community House. The school provided high school education for Years 7 through 12, with Year 11 and 12 students undertaking the Victorian Certificate of Education. Men's Shed
Men's sheds or community sheds are non-profit local organisations that provide a space for craftwork and social interaction. The movement originated in Australia around the 1980s as a way to improve the health and wellbeing of older men. However some have expanded their remit to anyone regardless of age or gender, and have similar aims and functions to hackerspaces. There are over 900 located across Australia, with thousands of active members. The City of Maroondah is a local government area in Victoria, Australia in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Maroondah had a population of 117,498 in June 2018. The City of Maroondah was created through the amalgamation the former Cities of Ringwood and Croydon in December 1994. The name 'Maroondah' was taken from two Aboriginal words - meaning "throwing" and "leaf" - symbolising the green environment. Melba Secondary College is a secondary school in Croydon, an eastern suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Melba has a student population of approximately 560 students. The school's main campus is on Brentnall Road in Croydon. History During mid-2009, a merger of Maroondah and Croydon Secondary Colleges was proposed, following the goal of the Maroondah Education Coalition to improve secondary education.
