Parkview Estate is a luxurious suburb of Ikoyi in Lagos. History In November 2017, an estate developing firm was sued by a home owner following the heavy floods that caused by structural defects. In May 2018, a Sun Heaven Hotel opened in the Parkview Estate. On 31 October 2018, the chairman of Credit Switch Technology Chief Bademosi was murdered in his home in Parkview Estate. Description Parkview Estate is bordered by the Gerrard Road and the Banana Island. The estate is majorly residential, with some private firms have offices and guest houses in the estate. It is considered one of the most expensive places to live in Lagos. Ikoyi
Ikoyi is the most affluent neighborhood of Lagos, located in Eti-Osa Local Government Area. It lies to the northeast of Obalende and adjoins Lagos Island to the west, and at the edge of the Lagos Lagoon. Banana Island is an artificial island off the foreshore of Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria. Its name derives from the curvature of its shape. The island is a planned, mixed development with residential, commercial and recreational buildings. History The original Banana Island construction project entitled Lagoon City was the brainchild of the late Chief Adebayo Adeleke, a University of London trained Civil Engineer (MICE), and CEO of City Property Development Ltd. Adeleke had originally commissioned a new urban development in Maroko, Victoria Island, but that project had been acquired by the Lagos State government. Musiliu Babatunde Obanikoro (popularly known as Koro) is a Nigerian politician. He served as Senator for Lagos State from 2003–2007, and was later appointed High Commissioner to Ghana. Dolphin Estate is a gated community in Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria. History The Dolphin Estate was one of Ikoyi's first gated communities. built by Messrs HFP Engineering Nigeria in 1990 for the Lagos State Development and Property Corporation, LSDPC.
