Amber Parkinson (born 3 October 1976 in Melbourne) is an Australian épée fencer. As an Athlete Parkinson was ranked first in the Australian Open Fencing Championships in December 2007. John Parkinson (physician)
Sir John Parkinson (10 February 1885 – 5 June 1976) was an English cardiologist known for describing Wolff–Parkinson–White syndrome. Biography Parkinson was born in Thornton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, the son of John Parkinson, . He was educated at University College London and studied medicine at the University of Freiburg and the London Hospital, qualifying in 1907. He received his M.D. in 1910, subsequently working as an assistant to Sir James Mackenzie at the London Hospital. During the First World War, he served with the Royal Army Medical Corps, commanding a military cardiology centre in Rouen. After the war he returned to London Hospital, becoming consultant and head of the cardiology department. He also served as consultant to the National Heart Hospital and was a civilian cardiologist for the Royal Air Force from 1931 to 1956. He was knighted by King George VI in 1948. Paul Parkinson OAM of Brisbane, Australia served as the Regional Chair of the Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Committee of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM), Scouts Australia National Commissioner for Adult Training and Development. He is, as well, Principal of the Scouts Australia Institute of Training (SAIT). Parkinson started Scouting as a Cub, gaining his Queen's Scout Award in 1968, and the Baden-Powell Award in 1976. Norman Parkinson
Norman Parkinson (21 April 1913 – 15 February 1990) was an English portrait and fashion photographer. His work revolutionised British fashion photography, as he moved his subjects out of the studio and used outdoor settings. While serving as a Royal Air Force photographer in World War II, he started with ''Vogue'' magazine, discovering several famous models. He became an official royal photographer in 1969, taking photographs for Princess Anne's 19th birthday and the Investiture portrait of King Charles III as Prince of Wales. He was Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs between February 1977 and September 1979. Sir Michael Parkinson (born 28 March 1935) is an English broadcaster, journalist and author. He presented his television talk show '' Parkinson'' from 1971 to 1982 and from 1998 to 2007, as well as other talk shows and programmes both in the UK and internationally.
