Park So-youn (figure Skater)
Park So-youn (, born October 24, 1997) is a retired South Korean figure skater. She is the 2012 Asian Open Figure Skating Trophy champion, the 2014 Asian Open Figure Skating Trophy bronze medalist, the 2015 South Korean national champion, and a three-time South Korean national silver medalist (2012–2014). On the junior level, she is the 2012 Youth Olympic team event bronze medalist, the 2012 JGP Turkey silver medalist, and the 2011 Asian Open Figure Skating Trophy silver medalist. She placed 4th at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics and 21st at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Career Early years and junior career Park began skating when she was eight years old, in the first grade of elementary school. In 2009, she became the youngest Korean national team member, aged 13. 2014 South Korean Figure Skating Championships
The 2014 South Korean Figure Skating Championships ( ko, 제68회 전국 남녀 피겨스케이팅 종합선수권대회) was the South Korean Figure Skating Championships for the 2013-2014 season. It was the 68th edition of those championships held. It was organized by the Korean Skating Union. Skaters competed in the disciplines of single skating, men's and ladies' singles on the senior, junior levels and ice dancing on the senior levels for the title of list of national championships in figure skating, national champion of South Korea. ISU Junior Grand Prix
The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating (titled the ISU Junior Series in the 1997–98 season) is a series of international junior-level competitions organized by the International Skating Union. Medals are awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The series was inaugurated in 1997 to complement the senior-level ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. The 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games (german: Olympische Jugend-Winterspiele 2012), officially known as the I Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG), were an international multi-sport event for youths that took place in Innsbruck, Austria, on 13–22 January 2012. Asian Open Figure Skating Trophy
The Asian Open Figure Skating Trophy (or ''Asian Trophy''; previously known as the Asian Figure Skating Championships) is an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by the Asian Skating Union. Skaters compete in the disciplines of men's and ladies' singles across three levels: senior, junior, and novice. Following an ASU meeting in Changchun, China during the 6th Asian Winter Games 2007, the ASU revised the name of the competition from the Asian Figure Skating Championships to the Asian Figure Skating Trophy, with the International Skating Union approving the change. Since 2013, the event has been titled the Asian Open Figure Skating Trophy and skaters from other continents have participated. In 2018 this event was part of the 2018–19 ISU Challenger Series. Figure skating is a sport in which individuals, pairs, or groups perform on figure skates on ice. It was the first winter sport to be included in the Olympic Games, when contested at the 1908 Olympics in London. The Mixed-NOCs participation at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics, mixed NOC team figure skating competition of the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics was held at the Olympiahalle (Innsbruck), Olympiahalle in Innsbruck. The eight teams were composed of one men's single skater, one ladies' single skater, and one ice dancing duo, each performing a free program or free dance.
