''Paris Green'' is a 1920 American silent comedy film directed by Jerome Storm and written by Julien Josephson. The film stars Charles Ray, Ann May, Bert Woodruff, Gertrude Claire, Donald MacDonald, and Gordon Mullen. The film was released in June 1920, by Paramount Pictures. Plot As described in a film magazine, Corporal Luther Green (Ray), famously known as Paris Green, has one hour to see Paris before sailing home. At lunch he meets Ninon (May), a French girl who is planning to visit her uncle in America. Luther gives her his address. Luther finds upon his return to Quigley Corners, New Jersey, that his former sweetheart has transferred her affections to another, so he decides to go to New York City and forget her. On the road to the railroad station he meets Ninon, who having missed her uncle at the pier was going to the only address in the United States that she knows. Jerome Storm (November 11, 1890 – July 10, 1958) was an American film director, actor, and writer. He acted in 48 films between 1914 and 1941 and directed 47 films between 1918 and 1932. He was born in Denver, Colorado, and died in Desert Hot Springs, California. Otto Hoffman
Otto F. Hoffman (May 2, 1879 – June 23, 1944) was an American film actor. He appeared in almost 200 films between 1915 and 1944. He was born in New York City and died in Los Angeles, California, from lung cancer. Hoffman's Broadway credits include ''The Strange Woman'' (1913), ''The Spring Maid'' (1910), and ''A Broken Idol'' (1909). He was also active in stock theater productions. Hoffman debuted in film in 1906 in a production of the Edison Company in New York. Later he worked for Goldwyn Pictures. Ida Lewis (actress)
Ida May Lewis (May 1848 - April 21, 1935) was an American stage and screen actress. She started in the theater when Daly and Wallack were the top manager impresarios. She later appeared in many silent films allegedly beginning with David Horsley studios in 1911. From 1913 she did much silent film work. She appeared in Frank Keenan's version of '' The Bells'' in 1918. Her final film was in 1932 in an uncredited role in the May Robson 'Grandma' segment of ''If I Had a Million''. Lewis died at her home in Los Angeles on April 21, 1935, and was buried somewhere in Hollywood Forever Cemetery as her listed plot had been removed by 1935.
