Parioli Challenger
The Parioli Challenger was a professional tennis tournament in Italy played on clay courts that was part of the ATP Challenger Series. It was held annually in Parioli, Rome from 1979 to 1993. It was the successor tournament to the Torneo Internazionale di Tennis Parioli (1949–1973). Parioli
Parioli () is the 2nd ''quartiere'' of Rome, identified by the initials Q. II. The toponym is also used to indicate the urbanistic area 2B of the '' Municipio Roma II''. The name comes from Monti Parioli, a series of tufa hills, and was given to the area before its incorporation into the city proper at the beginning of the 20th century. Guillermo Pérez Roldán (born 20 October 1969) is a former professional tennis player from Argentina. Pérez Roldán was known particularly as a strong clay court player. He turned professional in 1986. Between 1987 and 1993, he won nine top-level singles titles. His best Grand Slam performance came at the 1988 French Open, where he reached the quarter-finals, beating Alberto Mancini, Tore Meinecke, Patrik Kühnen and Stefan Edberg on the way, before being knocked out by Andre Agassi. Dick Crealy
Richard Crealy (born 18 September 1944) is an Australian former tennis player most notable for reaching the final of the Australian Open in 1970, being a member of the 1970 Australian Davis Cup Team, and winning three Grand Slam titles in doubles. Tennis career Crealy was born in Sydney in 1944. In 1968 he achieved his first Grand Slam title at the Australian Open with his fellow countryman and team mate Allan Stone in doubles. He also won the mixed doubles with Billie Jean King. Crealy won the Men's Doubles at the 1974 French Open with Onny Parun over Stan Smith and Bob Lutz. Phil Dent
Philip Clive Dent (born 14 February 1950) is a former professional tennis player. Dent's high water mark as a pro singles player was reaching the Australian Open final in 1974, which he lost to Jimmy Connors in four sets. Dent was also the men's doubles champion at the Australian Open in 1975 (with teammate John Alexander), and the mixed-doubles champion at the US Open in 1976 (with teammate Billie Jean King). Franco Davín (; born January 11, 1970) is a tennis coach and a former tennis player from Argentina. Davín won his first ATP-tour match at 15 years, 1 month against Hans Gildemeister in Buenos Aires. He holds the Open Era record for being the youngest player to win a tour level main draw match. Davín won three singles tournaments on the ATP Tour, and reached a career-high singles ranking of World No. 30 in October 1990. He coached fellow countryman Juan Martín del Potro until July 2015, and was the captain of the Argentine Davis Cup team.
