''Pareng Partners'' is a Philippine television news magazine program broadcast by ABS-CBN on July 28, 2018 and airs every Saturday at 5:15 pm ( PST). It is hosted by Anthony Taberna and Jorge Cariño. The show ended on March 23, 2019 with a total of 34 episodes. It was replaced by ''DocuCentral Presents'' in its timeslot. Typhoon Mangkhut
Typhoon Mangkhut (), known in the Philippines as Typhoon Ompong, was a powerful and catastrophic tropical cyclone that caused extensive damage in Guam, the Philippines and South China in September 2018. It was the strongest typhoon to strike Luzon since Megi in 2010, and the strongest to make landfall anywhere in the Philippines since Meranti in 2016. Mangkhut was also the strongest typhoon to affect Hong Kong since Ellen in 1983. This is a list of programs broadcast by ABS-CBN, a Philippine television network. The network is headquartered in ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center, Diliman, Quezon City. On May 5, 2020, ABS-CBN was issued a cease-and-desist order by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) and Solicitor General Jose Calida, after the NTC refused to renew the network's franchise license earlier in February 2020. The franchise license expired on May 4, 2020, and a day later, ABS-CBN officially signed off in the evening. On July 10, 2020, the House Committee of 18th Congress rejected the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN. As a result, the network was forced to cease operations of some of its divisions and laid off its workers on August 31, 2020. Alvin Elchico
Alvin Elchico (; born January 30, 1974) is a Filipino field reporter, newscaster and television host working for ABS-CBN and DZMM. A business reporter early in his career, he was the sole journalist able to report from inside the Oakwood Premier building during the Oakwood mutiny in July 2003. He is currently a co-host of ABS-CBN's evening news program ''TV Patrol''. Education Elchico graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication from University of St. La Salle in Bacolod City.
