Pardon The Interruption
''Pardon the Interruption'' (abbreviated ''PTI'') is an American sports talk television show that airs weekdays on various ESPN TV channels. It is hosted by Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon, who discuss, and frequently argue over, the top stories of the day in "sports... and other stuff" (as Kornheiser put it in the show's original promo). For thirteen years Tony Reali also appeared as the statistician and correcting errors that Mike and Tony made. Similar in format to Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert's '' At the Movies'', ''PTI'' is known for its playful banter between the cohosts, humorous and often loud tone, and a "rundown" graphic which lists the topics yet to be discussed on the right-hand side of the screen. Tony Kornheiser
Anthony Irwin Kornheiser (; born July 13, 1948) is an American television sports talk show host and former sportswriter and columnist. Kornheiser is best known for his endeavors in three forms of media: as a writer for ''The Washington Post'' from 1979 to 2008, as a co-host of ESPN's Emmy Award-winning sports debate show ''Pardon the Interruption'' since 2001, and as the host of ''The Tony Kornheiser Show'', a radio show and podcast. Longtime ESPN executive John Walsh once declared that "in the history of sports media, ornheiseris the most multitalented person ever." Mark Shapiro (born 1969/1970) is an American television and media executive. In 2018, he was promoted to become the President of Endeavor after working as the co-president of WME-IMG since 2016. He was Executive Vice President for Programming and Production at ESPN until 2005, before becoming CEO and President of Six Flags, Inc. Shapiro has also been the CEO and Executive Producer of Dick Clark Productions. Shapiro is also on the board of directors of Equity Residential, and is Chairman of the Board for Captivate Network.
