Parco Historic District
The Parco Historic District, also known as the Sinclair Historic District, comprises the center of Sinclair, Wyoming, originally known as Parco, surrounding the Parco Inn. The district includes 93 buildings, of which 49 are considered to be contributing structures to the district. Sinclair was built as a company town in 1924-25 with a consistent design theme by architects Fisher & Fisher in the Spanish Colonial revival style. In addition to the Parco Inn other significant structures include the Sinclair Theatre and Recreation Hall, the school, the library and the Community Church. The central plaza, business district and original worker housing also contribute. with Parco was built as a company town to house workers at the Producers and Refiners Oil Company (PARCO) refinery for oil man Frank Kistler. Jim Parco
James Edward Parco (born October 22, 1968) is a retired United States Air Force lieutenant colonel, professor, entrepreneur and corporate executive. While in the military, he emerged as a leading voice in the religious intolerance crisis, at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. After leaving military service, he joined the faculty of Colorado College. In 2014, he founded Mesa Organics and Purplebee's, a cannabis company based in Colorado, which was announced as the first acquisition in Colorado history by a publicly traded company under HB 19–1090. John Parco
John Parco (born August 25, 1971) is an Italian-Canadian former professional ice hockey player who played most of his professional career with Asiago HC in the Serie A. He is formerly the head coach of the Soo Thunderbirds in the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League and was formerly the head coach of Asiago HC and SG Cortina in Serie A. Internationally he represented Italy from 2003 until 2010 highlighted by scoring 3 goals in the Turin Olympics.
