''Para Innocens'' is a CD project made by Daniel Sarcos in 1998 for Fundacion Innocens, a charity made to raise awareness for children who have HIV. Daniel Sarcos
'Daniel Enrique Sarcos Cabrera'' (born 29 September 1967) is a Venezuelan actor, stand-up comedian, and television personality best known as the host of ''Súper Sábado Sensacional'' from 1997–2009 and the Miss Venezuela pageant from 2004–2009. Both of these shows are broadcast on the Venezuelan television channel, Venevisión. From 2011-2018 he also hosted the morning program ''Un Nuevo Día'' (formerly named ''¡Levántate!'') on the Telemundo Television network. Television career Sarcos began his television career when he hosted the variety show ''Frecuencia Latina'' on Venezolana de Televisión in 1994. In 1996, Sarcos was hired by Venevision to host the ''Mega Match Sensacional'', a new segment on the variety show known as ''Súper Sábado Sensacional''. Salsa Music
Salsa music is a style of Latin American music. Because most of the basic musical components predate the labeling of salsa, there have been many controversies regarding its origin. Most songs considered as salsa are primarily based on son montuno, with elements of Mambo (music), mambo, Latin jazz, Bomba (Puerto Rico), bomba, plena and guaracha. All of these elements are adapted to fit the basic son montuno template when performed within the context of salsa. Originally the name salsa was used to label commercially several styles of Latin dance music, but nowadays it is considered a musical style on its own and one of the staples of Latin American culture. The first self-identified salsa bands were predominantly assembled by Cubans, Cuban and Puerto Ricans, Puerto Rican musicians in New York City in the '70s. Servando & Florentino
Servando & Florentino is a Venezuela music duo consisting of brothers Servando Primera (born 27 August 1980) and Florentino Primera (born 31 August 1981). They are the son of Venezuelan musician and activist Alí Primera, who died in 1985. They began their music career as part of the salsa band Salserín and left the group in 1997. In the same year, they released their debut album, ''Los Primera'', which contained the lead single, "Una Fan Enamorada". The song topped the Hot Latin Songs and Tropical Airplay charts in the United States. Pasion (also Pasio; grc, Πασίων; before 430 – 370 BC) was a slave in Ancient Athens in the early 4th century BC, who rose to become a successful banker and Athenian citizen. Life Pasion was born some time before 430 BC. It is unknown where Pasion came from nor when he arrived in Athens. It is widely presumed that he originated from Syria and the Levant, circa 440 BC when vast numbers of Syrian slaves were brought to Greece through Phoenician ports, Tyre and Sidon. In Athens, he was owned by the bankers Antisthenes and Archestratus, who had a bank at the Piraeus, the harbor five miles out of Athens. Guaco (band)
Guaco is a tropical music band from Venezuela that was formed in Maracaibo by Mario Viloria, Alfonso "Pompo" Aguado, and Fernando Domínguez in 1968. Viloria, the main founder, retired to focus on his college studies; he was the group's main composer for several years. His home was also the main place where practices were held in the group's early years. The name Guaco is attributed a bird named "Guaco" that would fly over Viloria's house every morning. The band began as a gaita zuliana group, and during the 70s diverged from the traditional way of playing the genre by integrating it with elements of salsa music (such as complex horn arrangements), and adding in violins and electric guitars which were very unusual instruments to be included in a gaita band. Tito Rojas
Julio César Rojas López, better known by his stage name Tito Rojas (June 14, 1955 – December 26, 2020) and also known as "El Gallo Salsero", was a Puerto Rican salsa singer and songwriter. Early years Tito Rojas was born and raised in the town of Humacao, Puerto Rico, which is located on the east coast of Puerto Rico. There, he received his primary and secondary education. He enjoyed singing to his family and he would also sing the latest salsa tunes with his friends.
