Pappinisseri is a census town and grama panchayat in Kannur district in the Indian state of Kerala. Pappinissery have consistently won the Swaraj Trophy for best Grama Panchayat from 2017-2018 to 2021. Pappinisseri Panchayat also bagged the third position in the Swaraj Trophy during 2015-2016. Kalliasseri is a census town in Kannur district in the Indian state of Kerala. Kalliaseri Panchayat comprises two villages: Kalliasseri and Irinave. Demographics As of 2011 Census, Kalliasseri had a population of 31,122 of which males constitute 14,111 (45.3%) of the population and 17,011 (54.7%) females. Vadeshwaram Temple
Vadeshwaram Temple is a Shiva temple located at Aroli in the Kannur district of Kerala, India. Vadeshwaram is one among the 108 ancient Shiva temples in Kerala. It is also well known amongst the numerous Shiva temples in South India. It is built on top of a hill that looks like a mountain and is hence known by the nickname ' Kailasa of North Malabar'. Vadeshwaram Temple is believed to be built by the Mushika king Vatukavarma in the ''Ashtadala'' (eight-petalled) style of architecture and is considered to be the only Indian temple to be built in this style. National Highway 66 (India)
National Highway 66, commonly referred to as NH 66 (erstwhile NH-17 and a part of NH-47), is a mostly 4 lane long busy National Highway that runs roughly north–south along the western coast of India, parallel to the Western Ghats. It connects Panvel (a city south of Mumbai) to Cape Comorin (Kanyakumari), passing through the states of Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The highway is undergoing a major overhaul in Karnataka, where the state government has accepted the NHAI's request of international standard, 60-metre-wide national highway with grade separators. Valapattanam is a census town in the Kannur district, located in the Indian state of Kerala. It is also the smallest panchayat in Kerala. Its area is 2.04 sqr Km. It is about 7 km north of Kannur.
