Paper Empire
''Paper Empire'' is the seventh studio album by the New Orleans-based rock trio Better Than Ezra, released on May 12, 2009, through Red Distribution. It is the first album to feature new drummer Michael Jerome following the departure of former drummer Travis McNabb in February 2009 after 13 years with Better Than Ezra. Album art and packaging were designed by Lorin Brown aOne & Done Studio Songs Better Than Ezra vocalist Kevin Griffin co-wrote nine of the twelve songs on ''Paper Empire''. Griffin co-wrote four songs with songwriter busbee, who also wrote the Rascal Flatts single " Summer Nights". The track "Hey Love" was co-written by Griffin and country music songwriter Monty Powell. "Absolutely Still", the album's first single, was co-written with Val Emmich, whose version of the song appears on the Emmich's album "Sunlight Searchparty". Tom Melville Drummond (born June 30, 1969 Shreveport, Louisiana) is an American musician. He is currently the bassist and background vocalist for the band, Better Than Ezra. Drummond is one of the four original founding members who formed Better Than Ezra in 1988. He had graduated from Caddo Magnet High School and was attending Louisiana State University at the time. Drummond, along with lead vocalist Kevin Griffin, are the only two original members of Better Than Ezra currently active with the band. She has since worked as a songwriter for artists including Cher, Shawn Colvin, Hilary Duff, Kay Hanley and Kelly Osbourne. Busted (band)
Busted are an English pop punk band from Southend-on-Sea, Essex, consisting of James Bourne, Matt Willis and Charlie Simpson. Formed in 2000, the band had four UK number-one singles, won two Brit awards, released four studio albums and sold over 5 million records. The band released '' Busted'' in 2002 and ''A Present for Everyone'' in 2003 before disbanding in January 2005. Following the split, all three members pursued separate musical careers: Simpson as the frontman for the post-hardcore band Fightstar, Bourne as the lead singer of pop punk band Son of Dork and Willis as a solo artist. James Elliot Bourne (born 13 September 1983) is an English singer-songwriter and musician. He is known as the co-founder of pop punk bands Busted and Son of Dork, and he also created his own electronic project: Future Boy. From 2013 to 2015 he was a member of McBusted, which consisted of himself, Busted bandmate Matt Willis, and McFly.
