Norbert Pap (born 3 June 1969, in Tab, Hungary) is a Hungarian geographer–historian, founder of the Balkan Research Group, as well as leader of the Zrinski-Suleiman Research Group. Early life He graduated from Sándor Petőfi High School of Sárbogárd as well as he partly went to a geologic technical school. Pap studied geography and later history at the Janus Pannonius University in Pécs. He did special studies during the university: urbanistic, archaeological studies and tourism. He gained a scholarship and spent a semester in Firenze at the Political Science Faculty of Universitá degli Studi di Firenze, „Cesare Alfieri”. After graduating from university he did postgraduate studies in politology at the University of Pécs at the Faculty of Law. International Psychology, Practice and Research 5: 1–20. Career Lajos Pap was originally investigated by the psychical researcher Chengery Pap in the 1920s in a series of experimental séances. He was alleged to have produced apport and psychokinetic phenomena. Various dead and living animals were discovered after his séances such as frogs, lizards, mice and snakes. Chengery Pap stored many of these specimens in a museum. However, it was destroyed during World War II and only photographs remain. The scientific reception to the experiments was not favourable. Károly Pap
Károly Pap (24 September 1897 – 1945) was a Hungarian writer. Biography He was the third child of , who was the Chief Rabbi of the Neolog community in Sopron. His mother was from a wealthy family. He volunteered to fight in World War I and served as an officer on the Italian Front. After the war, he fought on behalf of the Hungarian Soviet Republic. Following the Republic's demise, this resulted in his being jailed from 1920 to 1921. In 1922, he moved to Vienna, Austria, where he worked for a coffin maker and spent time with a touring theater company. His first novel was published in 1923. Three years later, after returning to Hungary, he made the acquaintance of and the founding editor of ''Nyugat'', Ernő Osvát, who encouraged him to continue writing and promoted his works. Arthur Pap (October 1, 1921 - September 7, 1959) was a philosopher in the school of analytic philosophy. Pap published a number of books regarding analytical philosophy, its function within philosophy, and its impact on society. Life and works Pap was born October 1, 1921, in Zürich, Switzerland in a Jewish family. His musical talent was revealed early and his passion for playing the piano remained through all of his life. In high school Pap developed also a passion for philosophy and enrolled at Zürich University, where took courses in philosophy and logic from Karl Dürr.
