Paolo DelPiccolo
Paolo DelPiccolo (born May 28, 1991) is an American soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Louisville City FC in the United Soccer League. He is also the club's current captain. Career College and amateur DelPiccolo played four years of college soccer at the University of Louisville between 2009 and 2012. Professional career DelPiccolo was drafted 27th overall by Montreal Impact in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft. However, he opted to move abroad and signed with Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2013. DelPiccolo was released by Frankfurt at the end of their 2012–13 season and signed with Montreal Impact on July 5, 2013. He was waived at the end of the season by Montreal without making a first team appearance and was subsequently signed by New England Revolution in the MLS Waiver Draft on November 25, 2013. The City of Wheat Ridge is a home rule municipality located in Jefferson County, Colorado, United States. The USL Championship (USLC) is a professional men's soccer league in the United States that began its inaugural season in 2011. WDRB (channel 41) is a television station in Louisville, Kentucky, United States, affiliated with the Fox network. It is owned by Block Communications alongside Salem, Indiana–licensed dual CW/MyNetworkTV affiliate WBKI (channel 58). Miss USA is an American beauty pageant that has been held annually since 1952 to select the entrant from United States in the Miss Universe pageant. The Miss Universe Organization operated both pageants, as well as Miss Teen USA, until 2020, when the organization announced it was licensing operation of the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants to Crystle Stewart, Miss USA for 2008. 2018 USL Season
The 2018 USL season was the eighth season of the United Soccer League and second under Division II sanctioning. The previous season, the USL had provisional Div. II sanctioning from the United States Soccer Federation (U.S. Soccer) along with the North American Soccer League, but was given full sanctioning for the 2018 season with a two-year deadline to meet the full requirements set by U.S. Soccer. Louisville City FC were the defending USL Cup champions, while Real Monarchs were the defending Supporters’ Shield champions. This season was the last for four teams in the USL, with all changing leagues for 2019 and beyond. FC Cincinnati will join Major League Soccer.
