Giovanni Paolo Panini
Giovanni Paolo Panini or Pannini (17 June 1691 – 21 October 1765) was an Italian painter and architect who worked in Rome and is primarily known as one of the ''veduta, vedutisti'' ("view painters"). As a painter, Panini is best known for his vistas of Rome, in which he took a particular interest in the city's antiquities. Among his most famous works are his view of the interior of the Pantheon, Rome, Pantheon (on behalf of Francesco Algarotti), and his ''vedute''—paintings of picture galleries containing views of Rome. Most of his works, especially those of ruins, have a fanciful and unreal embellishment characteristic of ''capriccio (painting), capriccio'' themes. In this they resemble the ''capricci'' of Marco Ricci. Panini also painted portraits, including one of Pope Benedict XIV. Carlos Panini
Carlos Panini Binosi was a wealthy Mexican businessman of Italian origin, from Mosio di Acquanegra sul Chiese. He is credited with being the first pilot to fly a light plane around the world. In 1927 he had established Mexico's first scheduled airline, Servicio Aéreo Panini which he had sold shortly prior to the car race in which he died, as he was planning to retire. He was a motorsport enthusiast and participated in numerous competitions. Panini died when his car crashed during the 1951 Carrera Panamericana on the second stage from Oaxaca to Puebla. Although the registered driver for the race was Carlos' daughter Teresa (Teresita), he was at the wheel of car, despite the fact that he did not have a valid license and was in ill health. Manuel Panini (born 5 August 1983) is an Italian footballer who plays for Flaminia. Biography Born in Marino, suburb of Rome, Panini started his career in Lazio team Frosinone. He followed team promoted to ''Serie C2'' in 2001. In 2002, he returned to ''Serie D'' for Cavese. Cavese signed him in co-ownership deal in January 2004. In June Cavese signed him outright. He did not play in the whole 2005–06 Serie C2. In 2006, he joined ''Serie A'' club Catania. On 6 July he left for Taranto. On 5 July 2007 he was signed by Foggia, along with Gianvito Plasmati.
