Pandu Patria Sjahrir
Pandu Patria Sjahrir (born in Boston, Massachusetts, 17 May 1979) is one of Indonesia's leading coal mining entrepreneurs. He is the director of Toba Bara Sejahtera, a company engaged in coal mining industry. Pandu Sjahrir is the Founding Partner of AC Ventures. In the general chairman election of APBI-ICMA (Indonesian Coal Mining Association), Pandu was elected as general chairman for the period 2018–2021. Personal life Pandu was born in Brigham and Women's Hospital on 17 May 1979. He is the eldest children of Sjahrir (Indonesian economist), Dr Sjahrir and Nurmala Kartini Sjahrir and also a nephew of Indonesian Coordinating Ministry for Maritime and Investments Affairs (Indonesia), Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs, Luhut Binsar Panjaitan. In the Hinduism, Hindu epic ''Mahabharata'', Pandu ( sa, पाण्डु, Pāṇḍu, pale) was a king of the Kuru Kingdom. He was the foster-father of the five Pandava brothers, who were the boons bestowed upon his wife Kunti by a number of deities, owing to his inability to bear children following sage Kindama's curse.
